I’m so glad you’re here :)
I’m Richelle!
I’m a wife and mother to one beautiful baby girl through the gift of adoption.
We live on the Canadian prairies in a small country town surrounded by wheat fields and gravel roads in a small cottage style home.
When I’m not handing out snacks or playing outside with my daughter, you can find me in my sunny studio designing, carving and printing.
I first learned some printmaking basics in my high school art class, then went on to pursue a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba where I took classes on printmaking and art history.
I love the process of creating a print, from finding inspiration to the smell of the ink when printing. My absolute part of the process however is the carving. When I’m carving, the world slows down, my thoughts calm down, I feel at peace.
